On Sunday 11th October Region 13 have been invited to visit the new premises of Prodrive, a world leading motorsport and technology company based near Banbury. They will give us a complete tour of the premises, and since this is a company operating 24/7, 364 days a year, we will be able to see assembly, machining etc. in progress, and some finished cars. Arrive at 10.30 am for an 11.00 am start.

Prodrive has been competing in the major global motorsport series since it was founded in 1984. You may recall their Porsche 911 SC and 959 rally cars back in the 1980s. Cars that they have prepared have won six World Rally titles, four British Touring Car Championships, four Le Mans titles, and numerous national rally championship titles. Today they run programmes for Aston Martin in the FIA World Endurance Championship and for MINI in the World Rally Championship, as well as a new programme for VW in the Chinese Rally Championship..
