The Hereford, Worcester and Shropshire Region (R13) covers those three beautiful counties on the west side of the Midlands. We have a full programme of events, which typically will include talks by guest speakers, demonstrations, visits to the local Porsche Centre and to independent Porsche specialists, informal concours events, go-karting and skittles. Plus the occasional evening when we just get together for a chat. A session at the Curborough sprint circuit is a popular annual day out, as is our open evening when we invite anyone with an interesting car (of any make) to join us.
Our Region includes some wonderful scenery through which run some excellent driving roads, well suited to our cars. We try to take advantage of our location with some regular drive outs, and we also have one of the oldest motor sport venues in the country located in the centre if our Region, Shelsley Walsh hill climb. Many of our members drive the sporting models from the Porsche range, but all types of Porsche owners are most welcome to join in.
Our 'home' venue is The Whittington, a friendly pub offering good food with a very large and safe car park on the A449 near Kinver in Worcestershire. We meet there on the third Tuesday in the month at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. However, because of the extended nature of our Region, we hold at least one meeting a year near Malvern and another near Bridgenorth. And events such as go-karting and skittles are of course at other locations.
We aim to keep members in the Region updated through our regular email newsletter as well as provide regular updates on our forum pages.
