Our Christmas dinner was most enjoyable at Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel Bridgend. Over 40 members attended. After dinner, members took to the dance floor, where I am sure top honours for the ‘jive’ went to Sally Mealey and Ray Underhill.
The raffle first prize of a Porsche Experience Day at Silverstone from Porsche Centre Cardiff was most appreciated. The second prize of a night’s stay and dinner from Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel was also a wonderful donation prize.

I am pleased to announce £385 was raised for our charity raffle Blood Bikes Wales.
Sharon Thomas
We received the sad news that Sharon Thomas passed away on 5 December. Our Region’s condolences to Sharon’s family, including her husband Neil Thomas (a previous R14 RO), on this sad occasion.
FUTURE EVENTS
More events will be planned, in addition to those in Dairy Dates below, as we progress into the year.
We are in the process of planning our WOTY for September in the Isle of Man. Presently, we have pencilled in the Great Western Hotel Palace Hotel in Douglas at approximately £485pp for B&B - this includes dinner on the first night and the ferry crossing from Liverpool. By the time you read this report, hopefully everything will be finalised.
