New Year catch-up
2024 started with our now usual and popular visit to The Quays Hotel in Deganwy. Many thanks to Graham and Alison for organising the event with the hotel.

Most of us gathered at the hotel on Saturday afternoon for a catch-up in the bar before heading to our rooms to prepare for dinner. The ladies made a special effort with their bling and sequins. The interpretation by some of the chaps as smart (trousers) and casual (T-shirts) was not quite what we meant by smart casual, but we couldn’t technically fault the logic. Black tie next year will sort them out.
