Following the success of this years Woty 2023 we are going to Shropshire this year, and the, Lion Quays Resort Hotel near Oswestry, (the sister hotel to the Langstone Quays),
The hotel has everything that this years had and more. plus! location alongside a canal is stunning. Last picture is view from Orangerie where private dining would be held
Rooms are well appointed and spacious with a variety of options to suit individual needs, there are two rooms on the ground floor to suit any members with mobility issues. The dining areas are large, clean, tidy and well served. We spoke to some guests and the said the food was of good quality. The hotel will allow us to use the Conservatory (see pics), overlooking the canal, for our evening meals. It also has a sports centre, indoor pool and tennis courts etc for guests use.
The hotel is approximately 5 miles from the Welsh border, with the option of driving either west into Wales or north or east into Shropshire. The route to the hotel can be via the scenic Wye Valley, so a good driving area.
We are very pleased to confirm we do have the availability to arrive on Friday 7th June for the 2 nights with private dining in the conservatory.
The rate for dinner bed and breakfast rate would be as follows:
Friday - £185.00 double occupancy and £144.00 single occupancy
Saturday - £217.00 double occupancy and £174.00 single occupancy
