The South West Region (R15) covers Devon, Cornwall and parts of Somerset. Members in our region own and enjoy driving all kinds of Porsches from the classic 356 to the air cooled 911s, along with 944s, 928s through to the modern 911s, Boxsters and Caymans.
From Exmoor through to Dartmoor and then onto the dramatic coastline of Devon and Cornwall, our Region offers some great driving roads as well as a wide variety of picturesque villages, quaint harbours, historic towns, heritage locations and some wonderful gardens. Within the Region we have the Porsche Centre Exeter, several independent Porsche specialists and other businesses to look after our cars.
We are a very active region that offers our members a busy and varied events programme. The Region also has a presence at the annual Historic Vehicle Gathering held at Powderham in July each year. During the last couple of years, R15 has formed a close link with our next door region across the Channel, the Bretagne Pays de Loire branch of Porsche Club France. The Region has always supported local charities and our present chosen charity is the Children's Hospice South West.
During the Summer (April to October) we meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Dolphin Hotel, Bovey Tracey, TQ13 9AL, starting at 8pm unless otherwise advised via newsletter. The July meeting is at the Porsche Centre Exeter and the August meeting is normally a drive out with meal. From November to March we move to the second Sunday of the month (except Nov if it clashes with Remembrance Sunday) also at the Dolphin Hotel with a 12 noon start. The December meeting is at the same venue as the Christmas Dinner Dance
We strive to keep members in the Region updated through our monthly email newsletter as well as provide regular updates on our forum pages. We look forward to welcoming all members to our events.
