Prodrive visit - afternoon session

**Afternoon session only**

It’s one of R19’s special annual events: a visit to a manufacturer. It was Sunseeker last year, this year we’re back on dry land with Prodrive on 26 April.

A manufacturer, but, of course... Let’s say you’re Aston Martin and you want your WEC programme outsourced - you go to ProDrive. You’re Sebastien Loeb and need your BRX Hunter T+1 to do Paris-Dakar and then pop to the shops later for a holiday souvenir - you go to Prodrive. You’re Sir Lewis and can’t think who to approach to get your Team X44 Extreme-E machines to the start line - have a guess.

The factory tour is a rare opportunity. You’ll get close and personal with the factory’s cars, hear about its long and illustrious history in motor sport - from F1 to WRC - and get to see their Advanced Technology department working on a variety of projects for global automotive companies.

The day itself will be formatted as per Sunseeker. There’ll be a group in the morning and then a second group in the afternoon (only a select 15 people per group). Due to parking limitations, the ‘early starters’ of group one will need to leave the premises by around midday. So, the ‘five red lights’ are turned off at 10.30am and then it’s ‘go, go, go’ until 12.30pm for group one. Then group two is sequenced for 13.15pm, ending two hours later.

Tickets are £ 30pp. Location is Banbury and access is easy from the M40. It’s a great location, an enthralling event and bound to be a great day out. Group one ‘early-birders’ can join our convoy to Banbury: more on that later.
