The Thames Valley Region (R19) covers parts of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. We're very active with a programme of events covering a broad range of interests. Members in our region drive all kinds of Porsches of all ages including the very earliest 356s, classic 911s, 928s, 924s and 944s, modern 911s, Boxsters, Caymans as well as Cayennes, Panameras and Macans.
We meet on the first Sunday of the month at The Novello, A4 Bath Road, Littlewick Green, near Maidenhead Berkshire SL6 3RX from 12:30 pm. The Novello is the latest in a series of venues tried by R19 in an attempt to find a good balance between space, car-parking and value for money. We hope that everybody who comes will be pleased with the size of the tarmac car park, the raised floor area reserved for us and the cost of the food.
It's very easy to find, as it is right on the A4, not tucked away. From the direction of Reading, just head towards Maidenhead on the A4. When you get to Knowl Hill go past the Bird In Hand on the left. About half a mile further on the road will then briefly become a modified dual carriageway with central reservation. Continue till the road becomes a single carriageway again, the Novello will be about half a mile further on, on the right.
From the direction of Maidenhead and environs, get on to the A4 (Reading) at the Maidenhead Thicket junction with the A 404. Continue ahead, taking the second exit at the first roundabout. Go past the Hotel and the Honda garage, and at the mini roundabout bear left still on the A4. The Novello is about 600 yards on the left.
