It’s Saturday 9 July and the weather’s set fair and dry. Slip out the house early and arrive at 9am for two hours-ish of pure Porsche Immersion Therapy.
Get a complimentary ‘coffee and Danish’ (bacon not pastry), a showroom tour and round it off with a blast back to base ready for ‘Family Saturday’. Perfectly Porsche, essentially R19 and, for good measure, one for the Region’s more Middlesex contingent.
The venue? Well, nothing short of perfectly Porsche, too: Ashgood Classic & Sportscars, Horton (near Heathrow). Enthusiastic, polished, polite and friendly: a fine example of a Porsche independent at the top of their game.
So, get there by 9am, view their excellent array of cars, chin-wag with your fellow aficionados and even get Ashgood to value your current motor. You never know, you might just find your next car, and the people to buy it from.
