You may have heard on the R19 grapevine that our ‘Christmas Drive and Dine’ event this year is…erm…vine-related. You’d be right. On 18 December we’re getting all festive at The Vine in Hannington, a lovely village nestled in the lush farmlands of Hampshire - most of which have been turned into The Vine’s car park, so parking is a ding-free delight. But before nose-bag, we’ll loosen up with a little light, organised ‘Porschering’ out and about the local countryside.
So, whether you’re going ‘full tonto’ in a Father Christmas outfit, coming as the back-end of Rudolf the Reindeer or bringing up the rear in your favourite Ebenezer Scrooge impression, we can promise you a merry afternoon of light banter, hearty fare, a stolen moment under the mistletoe and a ‘raffle with prizes like an Evening with Walter Röhrl: a one-on-one five hour talk about terminal understeer….in German’. OK, we made the last bit up but you’ll love the rest. All you need is to convince the ‘other half’ to come along too, as chief return-leg chauffeuse/eur or sit glumly in the corner drinking fizzy water.

We will have our own private room, with lunch options would being a three-course lunch at £30 per head, including tea and coffee. Payment will be taken when we have confirmed numbers.
