The charity event hopes to host around 200 high end sports cars, exotics and classics all on the main school field with the purpose of giving the pupils and parents of the school a great afternoon out, giving car club members the chance to meet up, giving some local businesses the chance to show/advertise their products and most importantly help generate funds to be split equally between the 3 nominated charities (Friends of Copthorne, Copthorne Open House and Whizz Kids). The special guest is The Stig, from BBC's Top Gear.
Drivers of display cars have free entry (though since a charitable event donations (£5+) would be much appreciated). Plus1s are welcome @ £5pp. Payment likely to be on entry, cash preferable but working on a contactless system for the day and also a pre-pay service if anyone wishes to donate/pay upfront.
There will be Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Porsche, Lotus, Ferrari, GT40, Bentley, Jaguar, Corvette, Merc-Benz AMG) and other supercars on display.
Entertainment on the day will be live music, raffles, food/refreshments, a chance to have your photo with The Stig (with a charitable donation of course) and activities for children to get involved with, such as voting for best car in class / best overall car / design a car competition which may be judged by a select few including The Stig.
There are 200 spaces to fill, but due to interest and the number of clubs/brands involved they have to be restrictive in terms of each brand numbers. Therefore there is a maximum of 30 spaces for Porsche's, ideally classics and high-end models, with registration on first come / first served basis.
