For those that have been ‘off grid’ the last couple of months and have missed the news. Magnus Walker aka the ‘Urban Outlaw’ will be making a welcome return to Porsche night at our West London home, Ace Café. Ths coincides with his the launch of his book ‘Dirt Don’t Slow You Down’.

The Café is likely to be very busy. So, to make the night feel less like the January sales and more like a car meet here are some FAQs:

Can anyone attend the event? - Yes, as with all our Porsche meets at the Café, they are free and open to all, but please read on about parking and getting to the Café.

Can I bring a non-Porsche? - Only if you want to park outside on the road. As with all single marque meets at the Café, access to the carpark for this event is Porsche only and will be marshalled. We ask you to respect this, as we do, for all other car and bike meets at the Café.

Is there enough parking at Ace Café? - There are only so many Porsches we can fit in the car park, once it is full there is limited street parking around the Café. All parking is at your own risk.

Can I pre-book a space in the car park? - No, as always first come first parked.

Is there a special area for air-cooled Porsches? – We hate to break it to you, but all Porsches are air-cooled. Joking aside Porsches will be parked as they arrive. It’s a casual meet and a Porsche is a Porsche.

What about the neighbours? - Please be respectful of the roads around the area, they are regularly monitored by the Police who have a zero tolerance for any carelessness. The time to drive fast is on the track, not the approach road to the Café.

What if I want to come on Public Transport? - The nearest tube and over-ground stop is Stonebridge Park Station, check the transport for London website for details. The Café is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the station. A range of buses stop just outside.

What time does the meet start? - This months Porsche night, the car park is ours from 7pm. Please be aware there are other meets on at the Café during the day, so if you thought you could sneak in at 6pm you will be disappointed.

Will I get so see Magnus? - Magnus is very approachable and last time he joined us at Porsche night everyone got to see and chat with him. Please be patient and you will get to chat to him sometime during the evening.

Will I be able to buy a copy of his book? - Yes, and Magnus will be on hand to sign your copy.

Can I meet likeminded Porsche enthusiasts, drink builders’ tea, eat diner food and have fun? - You’d be mad not to, it’s a must!

For those wondering what happens outside Porsche night at Ace Café, and what the London Region and the Club are all about, look at our galleries and if you like what you see find us at the event. All the regulars and Ace Café team know us and will point you in our direction.
