R20 London - ‘On Tour’ - Steak Night

In response to the London members we will be taking the regular R20 first Wednesday meet ‘On Tour’. We are checking out a number of different venues, so that we can be more accessible to you, our regions members. Some will be easier for the cars, especially when we have those lovely long summer evenings, others may include R20 dinners and activities.

For October's 'On Tour' and back by popular request ....!!!

Once again we will be taking over space at one of London’s premier steak restaurants, Goodman Mayfair.

Some information from the restaurants website:

Meat ageing on site, six tonnes of it. Meat plates cut every day, and on request. Meat from the UK, Nebraska, Italy and beyond. Wine sourced from 30 different suppliers. We make life difficult for ourselves, to make sure we bring the best to you.

We dry-age our meat on-site, in a temperature controlled, dehumidified environment. No steak finds it's way to our blackboard before this unique treatment, bringing out the full concentration of flavour.

The restaurant is known for it's specially imported charcoal ovens use a blen
d of wood from sustainable sources, kept at 375-400°C to turn the best meat in the world into a fabulously smoky, flavourful steak.

This is definitely one for the meat lovers out there. Sign-up is required as limited space is available.
