We are pleased to be able offer the opportunity to visit Lake Country https://www.lakecountry.co.uk/ who are based at Unit 12 Railway Street Industrial Park, Gillingham, ME7 1YQ on Saturday 11^th May from 9:00 am – 4:00pm. Lake Country are specialists not just in detailing, but also sell the equipment, plus offer a training facility to car detailer’s.

The day will be split into two halves. The first half we will be in the actual live studio where one of our members cars will be showcased covering the basics from receiving the car prior to paintwork correction, with the car partially completed so we can see and discuss the various stages. We will then discuss topics such as: how perfect is your new cars paintwork upon collection from the dealership, all you should know about ceramic coatings, what they don’t tell you about ceramic coatings plus the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ followed by Q&A’s.

We will break around midday. The second half of the day we will move upstairs to the training area where we will move to the more technical side of the day and look at paint finishes and treatments, paint colour matching by different paint supplies and mixing systems. Dealing with paint swirls, holograms, buffer trails, imperfection – including correction techniques. The types of polishing machines, compounds and polishes. Practical demonstrations – including members having a go on sample panels. Q&A’s.

Refreshments and sandwiches will be provided. Parking is available directly outside Lake Country.
