Update 18 July: There has been a fantastic response to this event and have now reached capacity so cannot take anymore bookings.
The Great North Run was very successful in 2021 and we would hope this year's event to be even more popular as we are free from COVID-19 restrictions. This year we are going to run a joint event with members in R2.
The meeting place is the car park at Porsche Perth arriving around 8.45am and leaving at 9.15am. We will then drive on the lovely roads to Glenshee for a coffee break. Leaving Glenshee we will then drive to Deeside and arrive at the Maryculter Hotel for a two-course lunch at a cost of £25. Leaving the hotel we will then drive to Cairn O'Mount for a scenic stop. The drive will then continue to Forfar then Couper Angus with the last stop in Scone. This is a no charge run with the exception of lunch, however members should book to give us details for reservations at the Maryculter Hotel.
This should be a great event and the first opportunity to meet up with members from R2. Look forward to seeing you there.
