Show and Picnic with R2

Region 2 has invited R1 members to join them on Sunday 14 August for a Show and Picnic event.

In a change to R2 previous Concours events, the format will be less formal, without detailed scoring.

Categories will instead be broader, including members’ choice and dirtiest car winning a prize.

R2 will still be inviting Pro-Judges to look around your cars and make their pics, as well as being on hand to answer any questions you have about improving your car cosmetically.

The venue for this event will be The Rhynd Café, near Tentsmuir in Fife. This venue has become famous for its 'Bacon and Brakes' car meets every month, and features plenty of space on this rustic farmstead.
Their awesome motorsport inspired Cafe will be open for us for refreshments and light bites.

Cars should be in place for 11am, with prizegiving taking place at approximately 2.30pm, departing around 3pm.

We recommend that people bring their camping chairs and snacks, and make the most of this large gathering of Porsches from across Scotland.

There will also be the opportunity to book clay pigeon shooting lessons at the affiliated Scottish Clay Pigeon Centre. Standard lessons include an instructor, use of all safety equipment, use of a shotgun, cartridges and 25 clay targets, and is priced at £55pp. Shooting will be from a covered all-weather bay, although sensible outdoor footwear and jacket are advised.

Booking is now open via the link below.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to take up the offer of clay pigeon lessons, please email me separately at r1@porscheclubgb.com and indicate how many spaces you would like.
