We take pleasure in inviting you to the ninth annual ‘Porsche in the Glen’ event at Calderglen Country Park, Strathaven Road, East Kilbride, Glasgow G75 0QZ, on Sunday 17 May from noon until 4pm.
Due to the overwhelming interest in this event, which is the largest gathering of Porsches seen in Scotland with numbers nearing 180 cars, we are asking owners to be on-site well before 12 o’clock to guarantee a space. Any cars arriving after this time may not get a suitable space or access to the show area. To assist with health and safety, owners are asked to remain parked until completion of the prize giving at 3.30pm. Anyone unable to remain parked until this time is still welcome to attend, however, you will be asked to park in the nearby public car park.
A welcome pack will be issued on arrival and will include your yellow wristband, identifying you as a Porsche owner/enthusiast on the day. The wristband gives you free entry to the Conservatory and Zoo, together with an agreed 20% discount off food and drink at the Courtyard Café. It also lets others know you are part of the show. An official ‘Porsche in the Glen’ window sticker will be given to all attending Porsche owners.
Trade partners are still to be confirmed. However, as in previous years, we are hoping to have support from Angelwax, Porsche Centre Glasgow, Police Scotland and Knockhill Racing Circuit. Prizes will include ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Owners’ Choice’ awards.
