Barry was the overall winner of the inaugural British Porsche Carerra Cup Championship and has raced on numerous occasions in the 24-hour Nürburgring Nordschleife in 911 GT3 Cup cars – in 2011 finishing fourth in class (SP7) with Chris Harris (of 'Top Gear' fame). During a long and varied driving career, Barry has raced in British Formula Ford and the BTCC series. More recently he has turned his attention to team management with the successful Team Parker Racing squad, whose cars currently include Porsche 911 GT3 and Bentley Continentals in the international GT3 class.
Region 1 is privileged to have been invited to join Barry to participate in an informal Q&A session, view some of the Team Parker racecars and enjoy some light refreshments. Arrival is from 6.30pm, and it is anticipated that the evening will close at approximately 8.30pm.
