Sunday Coast Run

First of the year's Sunday Runs, a breezy run up to the Moray coast...

March 2018, and Hamish Annand kindly arranged a run along the North East of Scotland's coast. Starting with breakfast at Mill of Mundurno, just north of Aberdeen, we headed towards Peterhead & Fraserburgh, stopping at Cruden Bay for some pictures like this one, by Stan Fong, of Paul B's Ipanema Blue car.

Continuing north, we gathered again at Fraserburgh to enjoy some fresh air and the sea view from the Esplanade. We then moved on to park for a while at the Lighthouse Museum and decide on the onward route

along the winding coast road past Rosehearty towards Macduff and Banff to our lunch venue, the Banff Springs Hotel. Nineteen of us enjoyed a carvery lunch in pleasant surroundings, some investigating the antique fair being hosted by the hotel afterwards.

Many thanks to Hamish for organising, and to all who turned out to make this a successful event!
