The 2016 display events kicked off on Sunday 1 May at Grant Park in Forres where we showed nine cars at the annual "Vintage Theme Day".
New member Graeme Bremner had entered his car but must have missed the Club invitation. Fortunately we were able to entice him to join the line-up with his smart 944 Lux.
As you can see, the variety of vehicles on show went well beyond just vintage - in this shot you can just see our cars ranged around the igloo gazebo at the back. There was something to interest everyone, and I spent quite a while just chatting to various owners.
The weather was pretty fair for most of the day - just one quick shower, and we even had a 20 minute outbreak of sunshine, which was taken full advantage of.
Huw Banister collected the cup for "Best Porsche car at show" for the second year running - another bill for engraving... Well done Huw, and come on everyone else - get polishing!
