Several Charitable News Items

News of fundraising events and campaigns which may be of interest: Knockhill Armed Forces Appreciation Day, SuperCLAN 2015 and Grampian Transport Museum.

I've recently had news of several charitable events and campaigns which I'll pass on to members. These are not Club organised events, please contact the organisers for more information and booking...

1: Armed Forces Appreciation day at Knockhill, 21 June

Designed to show appreciation to all sections of the military for all of their sacrifices over recent history especially in Afghanistan, as well as all previous conflicts. Several prestige car dealerships and car clubs are involved.

2: SuperCLAN 2015 12 July

From Ross Gatt, SuperCLAN Organiser: "As many of you already know, SuperCLAN is an event that is not only a Supercar Drive that hosts many prestige models, but gives a huge charitable donation to a cause that's close to all of us.

As with previous years, this 12 July the convoy will set off from Scoro's headquarters at KMD Business Centre (AVC), and will follow a similar route through the Scottish countryside toward our first morning stop off, and onward to the lunch stop off at Glenfiddich Distillery. After lunch, we will once again scoop up some challenging and enjoyable roads homeward bound to Aberdeen before the final stop off.

Hopefully this year the weather is favourable and we don't experience any surface water which proved for tricky driving in a few cases last year.

At this stage, I have already received quite a number of requests for entry, so am asking you to save the date and submit your interest for taking part in the event as soon as possible. I will be following up on this email with entry fee information and specifics around the day over the next few weeks."
