An outdoor dinner by the harbour in Ansturther is one of life's great pleasures, so in place of our normal Club night, on Thursday the 17th of August we will be hitting the road down to Fife's famous fishing town for an evening of al-fresco dining.
The evening will begin with an optional drive, meeting at the Tay Bridge South Access car park, on the Fife side of the bridge, at 6:30pm for a 6:45pm departure. Our route will take us down to St Andrews and then on to Anstruther, aiming to park up for 7:30pm.
There is a main public carpark in Ansturther, however this can often be busy so please be prepared to grab a spot on-street on the harbour road.
We will be well served for dining options - our particular highlights are The Wee Chippy for Fish and Chips, and a new venue, The Ox and Anchor for burgers, loaded fries and hot dogs. In addition, there are a multitude of other fish and chip shops to choose from!
This is an informal night, so we encourage you to make the most of the last month of summer and eat outdoors with other members by the harbour and socialise, weather permitting! (If not, most places offer indoor seating)
