Update 18 July: There has been a fantastic response to this event and have now reached capacity so cannot take anymore bookings.
We are delighted to be joining Region 1 on their Great North Run, in its second year. When run last year as an R1 only event, it attracted over 30 Porsches, so this year we are hopeful it will attract an even larger number from both Regions.
The full-day event will begin at Porsche Centre Perth from 8:45am, accessible from the Broxden roundabout.
At 09:15 sharp we will depart, heading through Stanley and Blairgowrie for the Glenshee Ski Centre.
Arriving at Glenshee around 10:30, we will stop briefly for photo opportunities and a comfort break.
From Glenshee, we will take the North Deeside Road along to the Maryculter House Hotel for lunch in the early afternoon. A fixed price two-course lunch will be available for £25pp, with a choice of dishes. There is no pre-ordering required, simply choose and pay on the day.
After we've eaten, we will head for Cairn O'Mount and down into Angus, rejoining the A90 briefly before taking the Glamis Junction at Forfar. From Forfar, the route will cross country through Coupar Angus, ending in Scone.

R2 members can join/leave the run on route as convenient - there is no need to make it all the way to Perth if not convinient.
We would suggest that if not joining at Perth, join at the stop at Glenshee.
The lunch stop at Maryculter, or Cairn O'Mount, may make a convinient end point for some members.
