New Clubhouse - Discussion Night

You may have read recently in the Chairman's Christmas Email, that the Porsche Club GB Board of Directors is considering moving our clubhouse from it's current owned premises, Cornbury House in Moreton-in-Marsh, to a leased premises at Bicester Heritage, a new development on a second world war era airbase, the former RAF Bicester.

This is going to be the the largest decision that Porsche Club GB will have taken in over a decade. The investment for the new proposed clubhouse will be greater than £1M in the first year, with a total cost exceeding £2M over the 10 year lease of the new building.

Alongside this proposed move, membership fees are also being increased by £15 per annum.

There will be a membership poll on the matter, to seek members backing to proceed. There will also be an Extraordinary General Meting of the Club on Wednesday the 19th of January, which will address this proposal.

Therefore, we think it's important that members have the opportunity to discuss the proposed move prior to the Poll/EGM and ask questions, as well as giving you a chance to offer feedback.

To facilitate this, we have organised a virtual meeting via Zoom for all Region 2 members to join and discuss this proposal.

We would urge you to get involved in this process if you can - after all this is YOUR club and you have the right to be involved in the decisions it makes. Ultimately, as members, we need to decide whether this proposal will improve club life for us here in Region 2.

The Zoom meeting will take place on Thursday the 6th of January at 8pm, which you can join using the link below.
