We've tied this lengthy run in with National Drive It Day - a good excuse to add some fun miles to the car.

We have booked a table at The Keiller Brasserie just outside of Ballater, at the Hilton Hotel for teas and coffees from 9.45am. See here for directions to the starting point.
Leaving from Ballater at 10:30am, we will head up towards Tomintoul via the Lecht Ski Centre - weather permitting. From Tomintoul it's on to Grantown on Spey, and on up to Nairn via Ferness.
We will stop briefly in Nairn at the harbour to pick up any members from the Northern reaches who wish to join in there (and to get some scenic shots).
We should arrive at the Snow Goose by Vintage Inn in Inverness by 1pm. Please book your menu choices in advance - see their Sunday Menu here.
From Inverness - for those heading south we'll be heading down the A9 over the Slochd Pass to Carrbridge, where we will turn off toward Grantown on Spey and then rejoin the road back down over the Lecht and onto Royal Deeside, before parting ways.
