Meeting at the Stonehaven Promenade, near the outdoor pool at 10:15AM, we will depart at 10:30AM with the route taking us down the flowing A92 coastal road towards Montrose. Just before reaching St Cyrus, we will turn off to the right and follow the road up over the tops, before dropping into the valley on the other side. Crossing the A90 near laurencekirk, we will make for Glen Esk where the staff at the Retreat have kindly agreed to open the Folk Museum for us, out of season, for a private visit.

Teas and Coffees will be available to warm up while you have a look around.
Finally, for those who wish to come along, we will then be heading down some great roads into Edzell, to the Panmure Arms Hotel for a casual lunch.
Otherwise, folks can head straight off home from the folk museum, down to Laurencekirk and join the A90 for home.
