Hardy Souls Breakfast Run

Paul Barlow suggests the following for January 2nd:

Just a morning run for hardy souls who might be looking for an excuse to get the Porsche out for the first run of the new year.

Meet at Mains of Drum garden centre at around 9.30  for coffee and breakfast rolls (I’ve checked , they will be open from 9am).

10.30’ish head off to Stonehaven harbour via the Slug Road and park up for a few photos and a general natter.

Then a short drive down the coast towards St Cyrus taking  the B9120  Laurencekirk road via Hill of Garvock – possibly a brief stop here to admire the view and get a few more photos.

Depending on the weather and state of roads we could then just head back up the A90, alternatively head for Fettercairn and go over Cairn O’Mount to Banchory, with a possible rendezvous at Milton of Crathes bringing the run to a close.

Route map above shows in blue the start at Mains of Drum and finish at Milltimber (via A90 and Netherley road). Alternative return route shown by pink dashes.

Note: This event could be weather dependent, so please email Paul at paul@barlow.org.uk to express interest and be kept informed.
