This was a first-time attendance for us, and it was good to see the Lymm community having a great family day out, with something to capture the interest of everyone – from the classic cars, the steam engines and narrow boats, to the stalls, entertainers and stunt bikes – there was even a fly-past by the RAF’s Dakota C47.
The weather forecast was pessimistic, and we saw only a few drops of rain throughout the day, but the stand created much interest – especially when we were joined by the first production model E-Type Jaguar; we had visits also from some of our Members who hadn’t realised that we had organised a pitch to represent the Club. Thanks to everyone who came along to enjoy the event.
