Region 5 are now able to confirm this year's karting night at the fabulous outdoor Three Sisters Circuit, Wigan, WN4 8DD.
There is a limit of 20 places, which will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. A number of members have already expressed an interest and they take precedence. Please let Phil Thompson know if you would like to attend via email.
The cost is £53.10pp, a discount on last year.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, spectators are not allowed. If that changes nearer the date, participants and members will be notified.
Participants should meet by 6.30pm for the racing to start at 7pm prompt. You may wish to take your own crash helmets but these, plus gloves and outer clothing, are included in the package. If you plan to use a circuit helmet you will need to bring a balaclava or purchase one at reception for £2.50.
The evening will include a five-minute warm up/familiarisation session, two eight-minute heats, and a 10-minute final.
The minimum height for participants is five feet and the maximum weight is 18 stone. The winner will receive the applause and adulation of the crowd and bragging rights for the next 12 months.
Refreshments are not available on site.
All participants are reminded that they will be asked to sign a declaration of terms and conditions before they are allowed onto the track. This will be forwarded electronically prior to the event. Participants are also reminded that they will need to stick to the COVID-19 regulations and guidance in force at the time of the event. These will be circulated closer to the time.
