GOLD CUP – PCGB Region 5 Highlight Event of the Year
LATEST NEWS – The Club’s North West Region (R5) has finalised arrangements with MSV again to assemble a display of Porsche Cars at the 2015 HSCC Gold Cup race meeting at Oulton Park, over the Sun/Mon – 30/31 August Bank Holiday weekend. We will be setting up the marquee and display areas on the Friday and more details of the event can be found on the MSV website at: http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/calendar/2015/august/gold-cup.aspx, including details of what will be happening on the Friday and Saturday 28/29-Aug-15.
The Porsche Cars Display Stand has been arranged by Porsche Centre Wilmslow, and an area similar to last year will be set aside for PCGB Members and their Porsche Cars. However, exclusive entrance to the inner circuit display area will be given only by the production of a valid Entry Pass. These Entry Passes are available for any or all of the days to any PCGB Member from any Region displaying a Porsche car, for a bargain price of £10 per car for any or all of the four days, which includes the driver and one passenger – instead of the daily/weekend cost of £5/£18/£29 per person – a potential weekend saving of £48.
Children of 12 or under are included for free, and the only additional costs would be if anyone requires camping for the weekend or access to the grandstands.
VITAL DETAILS – In order to secure your Entry Pass for your Porsche, PCGB Members who wish to attend should complete the attached Application Form and e-mail it to Allan Crosby at R5@porscheclubgb.com no later than 07 August, with their Membership details and postal address, giving the day(s) they would like to attend, the names of the Driver and Passenger on each day, along with the respective registration number(s) and model(s) of car(s) they will be displaying, and the £10 per car fee for each Entry Pass, so that arrangements to obtain and mail out the necessary Entry Passes can be made in sufficient time in advance of the event. The address where to send the £10 fee will be given to Members subsequent to receiving their Application Form. Assuming that the arrangements can be finalised and confirmed, Members should also indicate whether or not they would like to participate in a Concours Display, as well as if they are able to help with setting up our area at Oulton Park on the Friday 28-Aug-15.
Please note that the latest arrival times are 10:30hrs for the Saturday and Monday, and 11:30hrs for the Sunday; and earliest departure time from the display area is 15:00hrs for all three days.
