Cleveleys Classic Car Show
The first weekend of June we attended Cleveleys Classic car Show with 12 cars. We were joined by a Williams F1 car and a Brabham F1 car, both owned by Andrew Wareing from Wrea Green. As usual we were in one of the side streets just off Cleveleys high street. Here we were sheltered by the strong sea breezes and some of us were able to find a warm sunny spot. The charity event has been running for a number of years and all the town is closed off to traffic, other than the vehicles being exhibited. In addition a number of car clubs were located along the new sea wall which made a good display but were subjected to the strong winds, and only a few hardy members from these clubs stayed with their cars. The whole town was packed with visitors and many were very interested in our Porsche Display. Thanks to Tony Bolton for organising our presence at this event
