Following on from our comments last year around succession planning for the organising team, ‘phase 1’ of that is now in place with Mark Cady stepping up to Joint RO and replacing Norman Ogilvy.
Norman took on the mantle of Joint RO with Neil in July 2021 following a conversation that took place over a burger at an Aston Martin launch event. At that time the Region had no ROs and was essentially dormant. Since then, membership numbers and engagement have increased significantly with Norman being instrumental in making that happen.
