Gourmet Weekend

6 - 8 May 2016

3 Mousquetaires (www.hostelleriedes3mousquetaires.com).

It is expected we will take the Eurotunnel at about 11.30am and return at about 4.30pm on Sunday 8th May.  We have been offered five newly refurbished luxe rooms at 155 Euro per night instead of 185 Euro, and the remainder being superior rooms at 130 Euro per night instead of 160 Euro. Breakfast is 12 Euro per person.  It is expected that a three-course meal on Friday 6th May will be about 52 Euro per person, and the four-course meal on Saturday 7th May will be 59 Euro per person.

On Saturday evening, we will have Guy Boursot providing a range of wines and Guy will discuss the characteristics of each of the wines.  The arrangements we have is that the hotel does not make any corkage charge and so we will pay for the cost of wines taken, plus Guy's expenses. We usually have about six different wines and the cost of wines, including Guy's expenses, are expected to be about 20 - 25 Euro per person.  During the day on 7th May, a range of places to visit will be supplied. On Sunday 8th May, we will have the opportunity to go to Boursot's Wine Shop in Ardres and then take lunch at a local restaurant, where it is expected that a three-course lunch will be approximately 30 Euro per person.
