When I realised that the new Porsche Centre in Nottingham would be open by August, I thought that it would make a great start venue for this year’s event. Over the last 11 years I have just about used every suitable road in Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire. It was time for a change, with the roads of North Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire now being more accessible.
