It is with immense sadness that we have to inform you that Carol Jessop passed away following a sudden brain haemorrhage on Thursday, 24 August. She was fit and healthy, and only 55. Everyone who knew Carol will have found her to be delightful; she was kind, caring, clever, thoughtful, capable, funny, completely unselfish and she was very dearly loved.
A great many people in Region 7 will have known Carol, her husband Mark and son Dan. Carol and Mark were Regional Organisers for R7 for 10 years, doing a brilliant job to run and build the Region to where it is now.
A true Porsche enthusiast, she greatly enjoyed driving their 944, 911 and Boxster, and even dreamed of owning a 356. She took part in or organised a whole variety of Porsche Club events. Her family and friends are devastated beyond words, but feel immensely proud and lucky to have known her and will always remember her and hold her in our hearts. She will be sadly missed.
