Face to Face with the New 991

A cold wet day at Tatton Park certainly didn't dampen my enthusiam for the latest generation of the 911.

Ultra smooth and incredibly quick with the feel of smaller car.

A short dry test a few days later showed just how versatile this car is. Happily cruising at 30mph in complete luxuy to exhillerating performance throughout the rev range. The new turbo engine produces more power, considerably more torque, a high rpm limit and lower consumption.

Silverstone next month for the ultimate test.
