At this year’s show, we had two display areas for the 914, the 914 Concours on the main display green and a display in the Club area. In total, 13 914s attended. David Wood and his silver 1970 914-6 won the 914 Concours Class, so David holds the Mike Karavasili Memorial Trophy for a year, with Mike Orriss as the runner-up with his 1974 Alaska Blue 2.0.
Kevin Clarke's 914 in the Super Class
Last year’s 914 Class winner Kevin Clarke was in the final of Super Class Air-Cooled, made up of all the class winners from the 2018 show. With seven cars competing, it was going to be close and a tough job for the judges but I am happy to report that the winner was Kevin’s 914. It was good fun to meet up with all the 914 owners who attended the show, with or without their 914.
