The Gloucestershire Region (R16) has a very large area taking in the whole of Bristol and Gloucestershire with parts of Somerset and Wiltshire. We have a varied programme of events covering drives in our beautiful countryside, static displays at shows and spur of the moment get togethers. We encourage our members to come up with ideas to put in our program and this year they have included a Concours event and a gliding evening.
Our region boasts three Porsche Centres in Bristol, Swindon and the brand new Tewkesbury facility all part of the Dick Lovett Group. We are also lucky to have in or Region the Prescott Hill Climb where we have regular get-togethers and the Castle Combe Racing Circuit where we showcase our cars at the action days. In the past it has also been one of the venues for the Porsche Club Championship. Many of the Porsche Club track days are also held at Castle Combe. Our drives are well attended and usually start at a local popular meeting point for breakfast or just a coffee then take in some of the country's best driving roads and scenery.
The date and location of our monthly social gatherings is currently being advised by newsletter.
The meetings are always informal and relaxed. We talk about all things Porsche, put together lists of events and final preparations for upcoming events and anything else that people wish to discuss. We also have quiz nights and guest speakers.
As always we look forward to seeing you there.
