As I write this short report in May, COVID-19 vigilance is still being recommended, as the emergence of the Indian virus strain presents more challenges for the scientists and politicians. As a largely vaccinated country, we have a head start on trying to avoid the worst results of infection, but I am personally reserving decision on when we next all meet as a larger group (larger than 30, that is) for the time being, even though the answer to this may be more obvious by the time you read this.
