A cold and damp start didn’t deter more than 200 Porsches from joining us at the first Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble of the new year.
From the moment the gates to the former WW2 bomber station were opened, a constant flurry of arrivals made their way to our dedicated parking area on airfield. Once everyone was in, our display featured a fantastic mix of classic and contemporary Porsches as well as a convoy of CSR owners.
Scattered around the Technical Site were a selection of hits from Porsche’s back catalogue, but it was Sports Purpose who once again stole the show with an icon of the 80s, the Porsche 959.
We would like to express a sincere thanks to Porsche Centre Swindon for allowing us to serve Club members tea and coffee from our VW pick-up which was displayed with them as part of the Porsche Classic Life experience set-up in the fire section.
The next Sunday Scramble is due to take place on 26 April and Club members will be notified of the necessary booking codes as soon as they’re activated. We hope to see you there!
