Fellow Southern Region members,

I wonder whether you may be able to help me.

Each year some work colleagues and I support our local community by volunteering to run some stalls at my local state primary schools summer fayre. The school is Wickham Primary school located in Wickham just north of Fareham, Hampshire. The school fayre raises money for the school charity and through my employers ‘£ for £’ charity scheme we are able to match the money raised at the fayre. Last year the school fayre raised £2,590 which we doubled via a matching contribution of £2,590 from HSBC.

Last year I organised for 6 Porsche Club GB members to show their cars at the fayre. The school arranged a dedicated area for displaying our cars. The cars generated a lot of positive interest from the school children and adults and I received the following feedback from the Chair of the school charity:

Thank you so much for all your efforts at our school summer Fayre. It really made a difference to the day. Loads of families loved looking round the cars and taking photos. Please pass on our thanks to the others at the Porsche Club GB.

Given the success of last years event the school has asked whether the Porsche Club GB would like to attend this year’s event. The fayre will be held on Saturday 30 June with cars displayed from around 11:30 – 14:30. BBQ food and soft drinks will be available at the fayre.

It would be great if I could arrange for around 6 cars to attend again. If you are interested in attending please let me know.
