Just been given the heads up on this.

Cariconics at Oakham has a display of more than a dozen 911s in the showroom to celebrate the Porsche 70th Anniversary - they are open 9.30 - 5 tomorrow and 9.30 to 4.00 on Sunday. It may be worth dropping in to have a look if you are in the area - you could combine it with a sunny drive out to Rutland water [:)]
They are on the Oakham Enterprise Park LE15 7TU.

Happy Porschering

I dropped in today to have a look round. About 15 beautifully presented examples, mostly models from 1970-early 2000s and very low mileage (and asking prices to match). Stars for me (as an ex-964 owner) were a delivery mileage 964 RS in Guards Red, which I suspect would be priced somewhere north of £250K, and a one-owner black 1990 964 C2 with 19K miles on the clock on offer for £120K. Sadly cars such as these are unlikely ever to see a stretch of tarmac and will live out their days cosseted as pieces of automotive art in some plutocrat's heated garage.

Another one that turned my head was a lovely LHD 911 2.4S - but it doesn't come with Sofia Helin [:(]

There are some tasty snacks available too.
