Clubhouse summer BBQ convoy

Windy_Miller

Guest of the Club
Hi All,

Will there be a pre-meet and convoy to the clubhouse BBQ in June, like there was for the Xmas open day?

If there is, then I’d like to join in please.

Cheers, Jason

Great idea Jason but I am away on holiday at that time so it needs someone else to organise it and lead it.

Any volunteers?

Hi Terry,

im happy to volunteer to pull it together in your holiday absence, though my memory of the route we took in December will be a little rusty, especially around Bicester.

If anyone has a ‘waypoint’ route that they think makes for a good drive then I’d gratefully receive it.

Can we have a ’show of hands’ for those interested in pre-meeting at the cafe in waddesden village again and driving up together to the clubhouse.

I presume we ought to limit the numbers out of respect for the cafe capacity and parking etc.

Cheers, Jason

This is the route we used at Christmas:

(Sorry about the long link but the short version doesn't seem to be working)

We went the long way around Bicester to avoid the Christmas shopping traffic at Bicester Village, at this time of the year it would probably be quicker to go straight through.

Hope you have a good drive

Thanks Terry,

i rather enjoyed the roundabouts on the ‘long way round’ Bicester.

Seems like no no takers for this so far.

Jason
