Gentlefolk,
I wonder if someone might be able to help me... I have a 968 engine installed in my 944 S2. Unfortunately I had to buy the ECU separately, and I have a feeling I have bought a non-functioning one. No tacho bounce, but oscilloscope on the connections to the ECU suggest I do have a signal from the crankshaft sensor. A continuity test from the ECU to the coil suggests all is good there, but no signal beyond the ECU.
Is there anyone within a 100mile radius of Shaftesbury that would be prepared to try my ECU in their car and prove it to be dead? Oh, yes I am prepared to travel and buy beer to get the answer!
Many thanks,
Tref
