Please note we have changed the date of the May Club night at Beamish to the third Wednesday May 16th with so many members heading off to the Monaco Historic.

Next month will return to the second Wednesday as usual but this will be held at Porsche Centre Teesside celebrating their first year of trading and continuing with the 70th anniversary celebration theme so don't miss this one it promises to be a great night. The Centre will be putting on a hog roast for this meeting.

Hi Guys

As mentioned on the Karting event thread I will need deposits in this night which is £25, fortunately I won’t be @ this club night as by then I will be sampling a Becks Vier 🍺 en-route to Zeebrugge ⛴, please either PayPal me @ paultate79@yahoo.com or pay your deposit to Richard Kilgour aka Killapowa.

Many thanks

Paul

Unfortunately we will miss May Club Night due to prior commitments in Portugal [;)] Really looking forward to the June meeting!

Paul (9212PT) - I have realised I can't make this date as that is the night I head up to Gleneagles....so apologies I can't assist in collecting any Karting deposits [:(]

First club night tonight, should i carry a copy of the times and wear a red carnation or will it be completely obvious where to go and what to do?

What’s best time to arrive? What time normally wind up etc?

I think some of the guys & gals are still in the South of France following the Monaco Historique - hence why there’s no response. Don‘t worry we’ve all been there (I’ve been a member for around 12 years & only started coming to club meetings last year!). Some arrive before 7:00 for a bite to eat with most people arriving before 7:30 with the meeting starting around 8:00. The venue is Stables Bar behind the main hall - turn to your right as you enter & you’ll see the PCGB banner. Plenty of tables - just sit yourself down & someone will strike up a conversation - try to find Greg or Deb if you can & they’ll set your mind at ease. They’re all a really friendly bunch so don’t worry. I’ll be there - you’ll spot the Miami blue 718. See you tonight - meeting finishes when you’re ready but I normally leave around 9:30ish

Thanks, will aim for 7:30 and hope to see you there!

Thanks, Trevor, we're back but not fully functioning! Got to bed a 2am this morning, trying hard to get back into the swing of things at work today - the downside to taking a week off. I imagine some of us may be a little subdued tonight, it's tiring having fun R3 style on the French Riviera [:D]

We're expecting a few new members tonight, don't worry, as Trevor says, we'll make sure you all receive a warm welcome.

After being a member for over a decade, it was a pleasure to finally attend my first meeting and look forward to many more. Thank you!

I did think we were going to be asked to leave at one point - I’m sure the hoover was coming out!
