Seriously do not worry too much about running costs
Parts are either Silly cheap or Silly expensive
ALWAYS speak to your local Porsche Centre about prices first. POrsche take pride in keeping their prices sencible.
At least it will give you an idea.
I fell into the trap of having an oil Cooler fitted to my 996 by a so called Porsche Specialist Not only did they rip me off on price and time (1300 4 days!!) They bodged the fit and twisted the piped going into the cooler. Gad to hire a car and spend two more days in Woodhall Spa
Porsche Wolverhampton said they had fixed price of 450.00 FITTED!! and would have done it in under a day and lent me a car!!
THey fitted 2 new pipes did the full Coolant for I think around 200.00
After I bought a Boxster they did a full check on my car for 75.00 and gave me neatly 90 mins checking the car AND spent about 20 mins showing me the problems
CANT GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS
Regular oil changes will help with the IMS bearing
REGARDS
