The 7th Cumbria International Motor Show 2018 is the largest car show in the North West, returning once again to the Westmorland Showground at Crooklands near Kendal. Just off J36 of the M6.

Last year we had a fantastic turn out of members with over 130 Porsches in our dedicated Porsche only parking area. Just like last year, the Cornbury House team will be bringing along the large marquee and lots of goodies in the club shop. Porsche Reading is also bringing their large Mobile Display Unit and Porsche Centre Kendal will be displaying their latest cars and will be providing refreshments.

There will also be display by Road & Race Restoration, 9-Apart and Reep body care

Our Region will be on hand to make you welcome with refreshments throughout the day and there may even be the odd cake or two made by our very own ladies.

Members from Scotland, North East and Yorkshire Region joining us at what will be another fabulous event in this beautiful part of the country. It’s a real family day out with plenty to see and do throughout the day.

The price of the entry is £5 per car, with a passenger, if registered in advance.

Please register via ESPCC Home and in the comments section please write PCGB.

Final instructions and passes will be sent out in April and must be displayed on your windscreen. You must be at the show ground for 10am and there is no 'movement till 4 45pm.

This promised to be a great show once again, and is now a firm first on our regional calendar

20th May-clashes with other events sadly-last years was apparently brilliant although I ended up not being able to attend as grandparents services were required at our daughter in Northumberland

 
Will be there this year ,Mike as the next Friday will be with the entire family in Troutbeck for a week so no risk of a Northumberland trip.[:)]

Time is getting on to book your place at the Cumbria International Motor Show.

This is Region 18's major car show event of the year so please support it. Our team have been working hard getting things together for the event

Porsche Centre Kendal will again be supporting us and bringing along a selection of cars. Also on our display will be 9-Apart, Road & race Restoration, Swissvax and others.

In addition PCGB will be bringing along the marquee and club shop will be there so you can purchase items. Porsche Cars will also be supporting us with their large Mobile Exhibition Unit

You can do this via the website www.espcarclub.co.uk/cumbria-international-motor-show.

To book on go to the car registration button and in the comment box put Porsche Club GB. This informs the organisers how many of us will be attending and they will therefore allocate us sufficient space.

Bound to be a great day - don't forget that legendary R18 member "Screamin' "Jamie Wilson will be rocking the stage with his fabulous band - to misquote from Bachman-Turner Overdrive - if you haven't already seen him playing live, you ain't seen nothing yet!!

Let's hope the Cumbrian weather is kind to us...
