Hi all,

Anyone from the R21 planning to go to the Bicester Heritage Scramble on Sunday 7th January?

I’ve booked tickets via the PCGB for the ’infield’ club area, would be good to ‘convoy’ in with any others intending to go from the Bucks (Aylesburyish) area.

Im also happy to join any ‘official’ R21 planned meet and convoy.

Cheers

Jason

Jason, we have not planned to attend The Scramble because our New Year Dinner is the night before and most of us will be having a lay in after a night of partying!

I have been to the Scramble on previous occasions and it seems to get better all of the time so I am sure you will enjoy it.

Jason,

I intend to go to the scramble on 7th Jan weather permitting. Will be heading from Berkhamsted via Aylesbury?

Hi Blowfish,

If you want to drive over together lets meet at the coffee shop in Waddesdon village opposite the 5 Arrows hotel and restaurant.

I think its called No. 94.

I‘d aim to be there for 0930ish.

Jason

For information the 94 Coffee Shop does not open until 10.00.

Enjoy your trip to the Scramble.

Ah-ha, good intel Terry, thanks for pointing that one out and saving a cold coffeeless meet in Waddesdon. ????

@ Blowfish, what time do you want to get to the Scramble for?

I’m happy to meet earlier in Aylesbury somewhere, or 10:00 at No.94. Let me know your thoughts.

Jason

Hi jason

ive just booked my tickets for Sunday. I am coming from Toddington/Leighton buzzard/Aylesbury direction, and then driving up to Bicester. Would be great to tag on to the convoy drive up. Happy to meet at Aylesbury or Waddesdon on the way, around 9.30.

let me know your plan

thanks

Hi Mat,

that at would be great. lets meet at 0930 at the McDonalds drive thru that’s on the retail park on the outskirts of Aylesbury on the bicestEster road. I think it’s called broad fields or similar (it has a Tescos, Homebase, harvester, next etc there).

we can have a coffee at McDs whilst waiting for anyone else to pitch up and then head on to the Scramble.

Im in a white 987.2 Cayman S. Which of your stable of stuttgarts finest rides will you be coming in (Hopefully the RPM Technik CSR!)?

cheers, Jason

Hi Blowfish,

If you’re still intending to go to the Scramble and want to convoy there I’m meeting another member around 0930 at the McDonalds on the broad fields retail park, which is on the outskirts of Aylesbury as you head out on the Bicester road.

Hopefully meet you there.

Cheers, Jason

Hi Jason - that works well. I'll see you at 9:30. I will be in the 997 CSR, as the old 911 is begin restored, the tractor is too slow and the Panamera too boring for this sort of event! See you Sunday.
