The Hillclimb Drivers' School has run at the Club's Loton Park venue for
many years supported by 6 experienced instructors, good food and a great
day out for those tempted to find out how to run this technical hill
correctly in thier own car.

All are welcome, no need to be a member. We provide certified helmets if
you wish and you can expect about 8 runs with feed-back after each run
on how well you are doing and if you remembered the training at the
start of the day!

Your car needs to be road going, MoT'd if required, and above all silent
enough for the road. You need to dress sensibly, sleeved shirts and full
length trousers are required. (a full race suit is ok too)

We do not time you at all. You will learn to drive the track carefully
with thought and precision, the speed wil come naturally as you
progress. This day is ideal for novice and expert alike; for those who
simply want to give it a try, to those who want to learn the fine
details to improve thier times at this track.

We video each run and you will get a copy of the day after the event,
all the bad bits and all the good bits!

Guests are welcome to come with their driver for a small fee to cover catering through the day. The guests however cannot walk the track at any time or be with the drivers during their briefing, walk or any driving up the hill.
The guests will have thier own briefing of the day's agenda and the track in the paddock, and will be able to meet with the drivers after every hill run during the day as well as morning toast and the lunch with everyone, as well as have freedom of the entire hill on the normally public side for photographs etc.
The hill is manned by fully trained marshals, a paramedic and full
rescue teams to ensure all 30 drivers are being trained in a safe but
exciting environment.

We run 3 events a year, and to see all the details and how to entre
please see and use the form below.

I look forward to welcoming you to the exacting sport of speed
hillclimbing; you just might get hooked!
