Kev Frost and myself are having a run up to this event. Anybody else from R8 thinking about going?

I'm thinking of going with my Miami Blue 718. Not committed to buying the ticket yet, making sure the weather's going to be good.

Are you going to be going up in Convoy? I live in Nottingham so will be going from there.

A few of us are going up on Sunday
You could pick us up at Porsche Leeds on your way at 9.30am?
Anyone else want to come along?

Kev's north Notts and we'll be going up together, weather permitting. Noticed the forecast has gone from cloudy/sun to cloudy and now showing rain :(
No problem driving up with us if we go. We will be going straight up the A1, setting off 10'ish

We are planning to come (already got our ticket), we are south east of Nottingham so we will be setting off about 9'ish so we may see your convoy on the A1.

We'll keep an eye out for you :)

Look forward to seeing you and new 987 Cayman there. Ordered 'hot & sunny' but they always ignore me. 'Duchess' and red 925S to make a guest appearance!!

Really enjoyed the day. Great fun, great venue, great company. Weather held off until about 20 miles from home.

We arrived at 10:10 and there were lots of members already parked up! We had a great day out. We took camping chairs with us this time, but we never got them out of the car! There was no time to sit around, as there was so much to see and do.

Last year I understand they had about 350 attending, this year well over 540 cars (not official, number obtained by the entrance photographer.) The Hall itself was interesting as well, very educational and the bird garden zoo as well. I looked out for your 718 (Cayman) fergusor but could not see it, not sure if you came up or not?

Congratulations to the organisers for a great event, it was a very good event and hoping to return next year :)

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it. But judging by all the pictures and all the positive reviews it looked like I missed a good event. Next year...
